No. We accept both beginners and experienced workers. Even if you’ve never worked in construction before, we’ll help you get started with basic training and connect you to real job sites.

You don’t select a trade upfront — you are matched based on attitude, reliability, and interests. This gives you a chance to explore multiple trades before choosing your path.

All workers operate as independent contractors. You are paid weekly by CTN via e-transfer or invoice for approved hours. No deductions are taken — you manage your own taxes and expenses.

This gives you control over your income, lets you write off expenses like tools and travel, and keeps the placement flexible. It also allows you to work with multiple companies and build your own future in the trades.

Yes. All workers must have WSIB coverage or private contractor insurance. This is required for your own protection on job sites. If you’re new, we’ll guide you through how to get it.

We partner with real trades companies across Ontario — including carpentry, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, concrete, welding, landscaping, drywall, painting, and more.

Placements can range from a few weeks to several months depending on the company and project. You can also move between different trades to gain more experience.

Yes. There are no strings attached. If a company offers you a permanent position and you want to take it, we support that — it means the system worked.
